Why would anyone's power go out on a nice sunny day like today? There are many reasons this could happen. We always notify members when we have a planned outage that is required to do maintenance in their area, but some things cannot be predicted. This morning in the Midway community of Williamsburg County, a line worker discovered a chicken snake caused an outage. We have great members who work well with our linemen and we appreciate your patience and understanding no matter what the cause of an outage may be.
