College Student Summer Intern
1 in Engineering Dept. – Warehouse – Pursuing a degree in Business or Technical. Working knowledge of personal computer and related software to include Word and Excel. Ability to deal courteously with employees, customers, and the general public. Requires ability to perform close work, have good vision and hearing. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand long periods of time as well as work in inclement weather. Must have composite toe boots.
2 in Engineering - Pursuing a degree in Engineering/Electronics/Trades and Crafts. Working knowledge of personal computer/iPad and related software to include Word and Excel. Ability to deal courteously with employees, customers, and the general public. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (0 to 100 degrees F), in ice, snow, rain, sun, etc. Must be able to walk a mile over uneven terrain, jump ditches. Need to be able to find their way around our system, read maps, visually inspect power lines, and install pole tags. Outside work. Must have steel toe boots.
1 in Member Services – Pursuing a degree in Business – Attention to detail and good oral communication skills. Must be able to use office equipment such as computer, keyboard, copier, printer, fax machine, etc. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Works in a climate-controlled office environment. Requires sitting most of the time with some standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Good finger dexterity, repetitive motions with hands and fingers. Lifting up to 25 pounds is required. Requires the ability to perform close work, have good vision and hearing. Must be able to work under stress.
1- Accounting Dept. – Accounting - Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business. Working knowledge of personal computer and related software to include Word and Excel. Ability to deal courteously with employees, customers, and the general public. Works in a climate-controlled office environment. Job requires sitting most of the time. Distribution Engineering Specialist (DISPATCHER) –Night Shift Position

Actively manage and coordinate all communications with various internal personnel, external groups and organizations, and member owners to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of all field services.
A Summary of Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate field operations, including service requests and service restoration
- Maintain accurate electronic records and files
- Monitor facilities and properties to ensure efficiencies and to identify breaches and security risks
- Assist in providing member services
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
- Skill and knowledge normally acquired through an Associate’s degree with a minimum of three years of work experience in a technical area
- Sense of urgency with a strong ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Well-developed oral and written communication ability
- Ability to exercise good judgement and think critically to solve problems
- Ability to positively and professionally interact with both internal and external entities
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Word experience)
- Knowledge of geographical area as well as an ability to read maps
- Knowledge in SCADA and GIS preferred
- Ability to work night Shift, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
