Wind earlier today blew limbs on lines causing outages. SEC crews reconnecting individual services sometimes had to cut off power to areas for safety throughout the day. We estimate about 180 members still without electricity.

We appreciate our member's patience and understanding. Mother Nature dealt us a tremendous blow and to recover from as much damage as Hurricane Hugo caused has not been easy, especially for those members without power the longest.
